Memories...

As much as I love traveling, it always hurts packing up and coming home. This is the last bite of my much loved and last in-n-out double double this year. It is becoming so bad that I say to Liz we should move to California if not visit every year or every other year. It is probably a good thing I don't move there, because I would be dead, those burgers are my cocaine, and there is not a day that goes by that I don't want one.

You can't rock an omelet like me

Yeah we went out to Pei Wei on Saturday night, and then had to swing by Wegman's for groceries, at Pei Wei I ended up getting the spicy chicken, and it was extremely hot but good, Pei Wei is owned by PF Chang's but it was half the price without the wait. For breakfast I ended up making an omelet. Colby cheese from Trader Joe's and that 3 year old Cabot cheese (amazing). There is some chopped up bacon in there as well. I wanted to use up the french bread I had left, but Liz said it was hard and threw it away on me.

Tastes like burning....

Liz picked me up from work last night, and to my surprise said she was hungry. Nothing much is open past midnight other than fast food. She asked if I would like a Volcano Taco (Codenamed Vermont, or VT). I said sure, but I decided against the VT and went the quesadilla route. However I wanted Lava Sauce, which Taco Bell can put in anything if you like. These are amazingly good and a bit on the spicy side, however the spiciness isn't as bad as lava sauce might sound. It makes your lips burn and your nose run. Go out and grab yourself something with Lava Sauce if you enjoy Taco Bell.

Welcome Post

Welcome to my blog about food. A little bit about myself, I am 25 and living in the D.C. area. I enjoy traveling, and have friends in many places. In this blog I will discuss food and fun things to do in D.C. and where I travel. I have a degree in the culinary arts, but seeing failed restaurants in the past moved to a more secure job. I still love to cook and most of all EAT. This week is a quiet week in D.C. However soon I will be in Orlando at Disney of course to see their attempt at a Wine Festival. Stay tuned....
